I’m Stacey, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner who believes deeply in the body’s natural ability to heal when it is met with safety, care, and compassion.
I have worked in the London Fire brigade since 2006, I attended operational incidents for over 16 years and currently teach those who want to become a Firefighter what it means to become a Firefighter. Through this work — and through my own life experiences — I’ve come to understand how stress, shock, and emotional overwhelm can live quietly in the body, even when we appear to be managing on the outside. My own healing journey led me to Somatic Therapy, where I discovered a gentle, body-based way of working that felt both grounding and deeply respectful.
I work in a calm, collaborative way, supporting you to reconnect with your body and nervous system at a pace that feels right for you. You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis or a clear story to share — just a sense that something doesn’t feel quite settled.
Alongside my work as a therapist, I’m a mum to two young boys and two stepdaughters and a wife to my incredible husband. Family life continually reminds me of the importance of patience, presence, and kindness — both towards others and ourselves. I was born in London, and my work is shaped by the many different experiences, relationships, and challenges that life has brought my way.
I welcome anyone who is feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply in need of support. Whether you’re navigating something specific or just sensing that your body and mind could use more care, you are welcome here.
My intention is to offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel held, and gently reconnect with yourself — without pressure, judgement, or the need to relive the past
